About Us

The Pride is written, edited and published by the newspaper production class at Harrisonville High School. The paper is an open forum, distributed to the students, faculty, parents, alumni, and other members of HHS as well as members of the community throughout Harrisonville, Missouri and surrounding areas. All decisions concerning grammar, layout, content, and photography are made solely by the student editors themselves. Our mission is to report news truthfully and accurately and to act as an open forum for student expression. Opinions in editorials do not reflect the views of the Harrisonville Cass R-IX school district, its staff or the adviser. All comments, concerns, and complaints should be be forwarded directly to the Editor-in-Chief. If readers would like to submit letters to the Editor, they can do so in room 304 at the high school or via e-mail at Kayt.Dahn@hhsnews.com.
