Hola, me llamo Kayt Dahn. I am the Editor-In-Chief of The Pride at HHS. My favorite color is purple, and nearly 75 percent of everything I own is purple. Including: my room, my bed, my backpack, my lunchbox, my purse, my clothes, my favorite shoes, my jewelry, my wallet, and my car air freshener. My car air freshener is also a turtle, which happens to be my favorite animal. I have turtle rings, statues, jewelry holders, pictures, key chains, necklaces, and have had several short term pet turtles. My pet is my cat Bella. She’s a cute little black kitten, but tends to hate people. However, if you ask me, she’s the sweetest thing ever. I make my cash by babysitting, which is mildly ironic considering I don’t really want children. I plan on attending MU next year where I’ll be spending my time at the J-School. Hey ya’ll. My name is Sasha, and I am your local neighborhood spy/Copy and Managing Editor. I enjoy eating white cheddar cheez-its and making guacamole. One thing to remember about me is that I am deadly during the wee morning hours, so please excuse my rudeness. My favorite sport is Quidditch and when I attend Mizzou in the fall next year, I will be playing with some Muggles, yo. For the most part though I am pretty easy going, with an extremely sarcastic sense of humor and a keen smell for milk chocolate. Have a lovely day, HHS!

Abbey Fisher >> Sports Editor

Hey there HHS! I am Abbey Fisher, and I am a senior and Sports Editor for The Pride. I enjoy long walks on the beach, cuddling on the couch, and a good non-alcoholic appletini. My favorite animal is a unicorn and I am the proud owner of a cheetah print Snuggie. When I’m not locked up in the j-room writin’ up sports stories and choosing your Featured Athlete, you can find me singing and dancing in Music Makers. I also have a job that we will not speak of due to the stress it causes in my life. (Here’s a hint: it rhymes with ironic and smells like tator tots.) My favorite articles of clothing are hoodies and yoga pants, I eat Chinese food at least once a week, and I have a serious addiction to TLC reality shows such as 19 Kids and Counting and Say Yes to the Dress. I don’t think I’m going to tell you anymore about me due to the fact that this is going on the Internet and I’m not a fan of being stalked by creepers in the night. Hello HHS students. My name is Hannah Baggenstoss, I’m 17 years old, I’m a junior, and this is my first year on the newspaper staff. I am part of the volleyball team, swimteam, drama club, FCA, and FMP. Hannah Franz >> Staff Writer

Hannah Franz is seventeen years old. It’s her first year on staff. She lives in the oldest house in Cass County. She loves her shih tzu Missy and sweet tea. She enjoys watching House Hunters International, going to McDonald’s and singing in her car. She speaks Spanish relatively well and plans on visiting Spain this summer. She can’t burp or blow bubbles with gum. She works at Price Chopper. Nobody really knows if her hair is red or blonde. “Strawberry blonde” would probably be the most accurate description. Hannah held the record for Most Times Hit With a Dodgeball in Lifetime Sports her junior year. She has loved to write ever since she learned how. She secretly dreams of being on NPR. Someday she wants to write a really interesting book that gets turned into a documentary that’s so good they show it in IMAX.
